LOCATION:

The role will be based in LaSalle, IL and will require moderate travel throughout The Perfectly Flawed Service Area. This includes all or parts of  LaSalle, Bureau, Putnam, Marshall, Livingston, Lee, Henry and neighboring counties. The role will also work remotely with statewide agencies and partners.

SKILLS & QUALATIES:

  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Tech savvy

  • Self-directed and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to coordinate projects and activities for groups of 10 or more people

  • Outgoing and passion for creating positive experiences for others

  • Experience or understanding of drug use, harm reduction and recovery 

  • Empathy for and proficiency in working with people who use or have used substances, people in early recovery, and neurodiverse individuals

  • De-escalation skills calming tense situations or soothing individuals who are having a difficult day

  • Comfortable with public speaking

  • Willingness to share life experiences with others

  • Ability to share information posts on social media

  • Ability to drive a transport vehicle with up to 7 passengers safely

  • Ability to set up tables, tents and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to navigate hiking trails

  • Ability to travel to events and parks

  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar).

  • Ability to use a shared calendar and create event invites.

  • Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license

  • Availability on some nights and weekends

  • This job will require moderate amounts of travel to appointments and events
