"Without advocacy, vulnerable people cannot be heard or given credence… They cannot be supported, protected or defended and their rights will be lost. Without advocacy, vulnerable people have no power and will be invisible."
We work to reduce stigma and promote awareness. We educate policymakers and community leaders to understand the importance of taking a non-punitive, public health approach to substance use and how a shift in approach will prevent the spread of infectious disease, improve health outcomes and most importantly, save lives. This evidence-based shift in approach will benefit the overall health of the communities.
